1973 – 2004
HFX was originally founded in 1973 and became the leader in Flexitime solutions and by 2004 HFX provided a full workforce management solution.
2012
In 2012 HFX Ltd was acquired by Smart Business Investments Ltd with a long-term plan to re-platform the technology to SaaS Cloud and to increase the breadth of the software and improve the win rate of new customers within the Workforce Management market segment.
2018
In 2018 Autotime (a market leader in T&A for the SME commercial sector for over 45 years) was acquired by HFX, doubling the customer base, and enabling HFX to increase its market share and opportunity.
2021
2023 was our 50th birthday – quite an achievement in the world of Tech! This consolidated track record of experience, success and over 500 loyal customers during the last 50 years has led to us becoming niche experts in Workforce Management, giving a security to existing and new customers that we are not a fly by night tech company.
2025 a new stage on our growth journey
In 2025, we were acquired by AdvancedAdvT Ltd, a global software solutions provider specialising in workforce management, financial services, and compliance. This strategic acquisition positions us to leverage AdvancedAdvT’s extensive resources and expertise, enabling us to enhance our competitiveness and accelerate growth in the workforce management sector.
